Access to Primary Healthcare for Temporary Protection Beneficiaries

About

In 2025, the National Congress of Ukrainians of Moldova, in partnership with INTERSOS Moldova, implemented a humanitarian initiative aimed at improving access to primary healthcare services for individuals holding temporary protection status and other vulnerable groups residing in the Republic of Moldova.

The initiative provided free consultations with a family physician at the Ukrainian House in Chișinău, ensuring accessible medical support for people facing barriers to healthcare services. The consultations focused on basic medical assessments, primary care guidance, and referrals where necessary.

Throughout 2025, a total of 805 medical consultations were delivered within the framework of the initiative. The program contributed to strengthening access to essential healthcare services and supporting the wellbeing of vulnerable individuals affected by displacement and socio-economic challenges.
