FUNDRAISING FOR “HEAT FOR UKRAINE” GENERATORS COMPLETED

As winter sets in, Ukraine is facing severe cold. At the same time, Russia has intensified missile and drone attacks on power plants, substations, and heating infrastructure — deliberately targeting civilians and leaving families, hospitals, schools, and shelters without electricity and heat. Not a single power plant in Ukraine has remained untouched by these brutal Russian strikes.
Kyiv is currently experiencing the worst heating and electricity crisis since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion. A state of emergency has been declared in the country’s energy sector.
That is why we have joined the global initiative “Heat for Ukraine,” supporting the call of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for urgent energy assistance.
Generators are now critically needed. They provide immediate electricity when the power grid is destroyed — helping keep homes warm, ensuring the operation of life-saving medical equipment in hospitals and shelters, and protecting people’s lives during blackouts.
Funds raised through the “Warmth for Ukraine” campaign will be used to purchase and deliver generators across the country, as well as to supply Ukrainian communities (Sumy and Kyiv regions), families, and children with essential energy resources.

As a result of the campaign, people in Moldova came together and raised 481,918 lei — over 1 million hryvnia — which will be used to purchase and deliver generators and critically important energy resources to communities in the Kyiv and Sumy regions, families, and children who need them most.
